eIt has been great riding at Mammoth since they OPENED on Nov. 13th and if you already have your Cali4nia Pass then its time to hit the slopes! First reports from our riders that made the trip up to Mammoth this weekend is that the Cali4nia Pass is the way to go! They are loving the early season riding at Mammoth and looking forward to a fun season of jibbing at Bear Snow Summit and making the trip back to Mammoth for big mountain riding! Weather Forecast and Snow Conditions

Coverage / Depth - Good Coverage on open runs. Machine Groomed Hard Pack Softening with a fresh layer of new snow.

Early Season Conditions exist on Trail Edges. Bear 14-18" depth and at Summit 12-16" in depth.

9 Inches Fresh Snow

  • First, let's talk skiing and riding! Snowmaking conditions are great, we just opened Log Chute from top to bottom and the forecast has snow in it starting Monday night through New Year's Day! Lifts begin spinning at 8 am this week and Snow Summit hosts night sessions every night!
  • At Snow Summit skiers and riders will find 12 lifts and 11 runs opening at 8 am.
  • At Bear Mountain riders will find 10 trails and 10 lifts opening at 8:00 am!

  • It Snowed over 9 inches this week- we made snow too! With 34 trails, 26 lifts and over 130 features for you to play on-Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are the spots to be! Save money on lift tickets when purchasing in advance. Please see our website for details.
